CGSA reinforces commitment to health and safety
Contecon Guayaquil (CGSA) successfully held its 2025 HSSE Fair last April, dedicating a full day to strengthening the culture of prevention, self-care, and employee well-being.
The event brought together workers, contractors, and other stakeholders in a space designed to promote health, safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental protection. The fair featured a combination of physical activities, medical assessments, preventive exercises, and training sessions. It also highlighted an innovative approach to mental healthcare through mindfulness practices and the use of artificial intelligence as a tool to safeguard the emotional and physical well-being of employees.
“Incorporating artificial intelligence into the HSSE Fair represents an important step toward a future of prevention. Not only does it help us optimize resources, but it also makes the work environment more humane by enabling us to anticipate risks more effectively and take better care of our people,” said Kohn Llano, CGSA HSSE Area Manager.
CGSA remains committed to the highest standards of industrial safety and occupational health. While technology continues to drive many of its initiatives, the company emphasizes a humanistic approach—recognizing that true port efficiency begins with genuine care for its people.
