CGSA opens break space to support fatigue management

Turnover of the new break space for employees

CGSA has opened a fully equipped cafeteria for its quay crane, rubber-tired gantry crane and operations controller teams, supporting industrial safety, operational control and fatigue management.

Proper rest periods help reduce the risk of human error and fatigue-related incidents in high-responsibility environments. The café is designed to enable structured and effective breaks, which are critical to maintaining alertness, concentration and sound decision-making during operational shifts. It includes basic equipment like a microwave oven for safer food handling, improved organization and fewer distractions during work hours.

CGSA’s initiative focuses on people-centered safety and on creating a safer, more controlled working environment.
