BGT welcomes new COSCO service

Basra Gateway Terminal recently handled the inaugural call of COSCO Shipping Lines’ BUX service. The feeder service covers the ports of Khalifa, Jebel Ali and Umm Qasr, offering improved transit times by connecting larger vessels to Umm Qasr. The service also expands access for smaller ports and facilitates seamless transshipments to improve supply chain efficiency and support the growing needs of Iraq’s economy.
