With an overall length of 366 meters and a capacity of 13,000 TEUs, the MSC Elisa ranks among the largest MSC vessels to call at the Port of Umm Qasr. This highlights BGT’s capability to accommodate large container ships, further reinforcing its role as a key hub for Iraqi trade. The vessel’s arrival reflects a growing trend towards larger ships in Iraq’s shipping industry.
