BGT rolls out new lighting system

Responding to global calls for the use of cleaner, more sustainable energy, Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) initiated an overhaul of the lighting systems in its facilities at Umm Qasr North Port. BGT switched to a LED-based lighting solution that consumes 80 percent less energy while providing superior lighting compared to the previous lighting solution. By replacing the previous system, BGT has elevated its operational capabilities while decreasing its carbon footprint.
