BGT hosts Iftar for stakeholders, staff

In the spirit of unity and compassion that marks the observation of Ramadan, Basra Gateway Terminal hosted an Iftar dinner for its stakeholders, customers and staff.

Hans-Ole Madsen, ICTSI senior vice president and regional head for Europe, Middle East and Africa, joined the celebration and thanked everyone in attendance for their hard work and unwavering support.

“We at BGT are immensely grateful for the enduring support of our valued customers. Our partnership and your trust have been the cornerstones of our success,” said Madsen during his closing remarks.

Madsen also highlighted the terminal’s performance in the past year, which led to BGT being named the best terminal in the ICTSI Group in the recent Chairman’s Cup.

“Last year was truly remarkable for us. Winning this year’s Chairman’s Cup is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the commitment to excellence that defines BGT,” he explained. 

Aside from the commitment to excellence, BGT leverages on its great relationship with its customers that sets the stage for even greater achievements in the future.
