BGT helps Umm Qasr family rebuild home

Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT), as part of its commitment to grow and support the Umm Qasr community, played a pivotal role in helping a family in need rebuild their lives after their house was damaged by extreme weather conditions.

Seeing that the modest local family could not afford the rebuilding cost, BGT stepped in to help with the reconstruction of the house. The initiative received a warm and supportive welcome from the people in the community.

Speaking about BGT’s initiative to help provide a decent place to live in for the family, BGT Commercial Director Marko Miskovic explained that “it’s more than just business for BGT. It’s a way for the company to keep the local communities safe.”

“Our duty extends beyond facilitating trade – it encompasses the well-being of the Umm Qasr community and its residents,” he added.
