BGT, Hapag Lloyd Iraq team up for International Coastal Cleanup day

Teams from Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) and Hapag Lloyd Iraq joined forces for this year’s International Coastal Cleanup Day to clean the Umm Qasr local beach and help protect marine life by reducing plastic pollution. BGT Chief Executive Romeo Salvador described the collaboration as shining example of how organizations can come together to make a positive impact on our planet through seemingly small actions like cleaning the beach.
