BGT celebrates Eid al-Adha with community

Basra Gateway Terminal (BGT) continued its annual tradition of sharing meat with families in Umm Qasr in celebration of Eid al-Adha.

Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the two major Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide every year. An essential aspect of the holiday is the sharing of meat, particularly with less-fortunate members of the community.

BGT employees dedicated their time outside of working hours to prepare and distribute meat to the locals, demonstrating the company's commitment to giving back to the community. This gesture not only fosters compassion and care between BGT and its host community but also strengthens camaraderie and cooperation among employees.
