AGCT continues support for local hospitals

Adriatic Gate Container Terminal (AGCT) continues its commitment to improve the well-being of the community by supporting local hospitals in providing patients with quality healthcare.

On 6 December, personnel from AGCT visited patients at Children’s Hospital Kantrida to celebrate Saint Nicholas Day. The visitors also brought gifts for the little warriors under the care of the Oncology Department. By sharing joy and warmth, the company aims to inspire the patients and their families by instilling a sense of hope and resilience in the face of challenging circumstances.

“We are proud to be able to support the Children’s Hospital Kantrida and help patients as they go through a challenging time in their lives. We hope for their speedy recovery and wish them a future of good health,” said Emmanuel Papagiannakis, AGCT chief executive officer.

Aside from sharing gifts with patients of Children’s Hospital Kantrida, AGCT also made a donation towards the purchase medical equipment for the Department of Hematology-Oncology at the Pedriatic Clinic of Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka. The donation is part of the company’s longstanding support for the hospital and aims to facilitate treatment for children with serious illnesses.

AGCT understands that the healthy development of children is crucial to the future well-being of any society, especially in countries with a declining population like Croatia. With a dedicated focus on supporting medical facilities like Children’s Hospital Kantrida and Clinical Hospital Center Rijeka, the company commits to helping create a better and more compassionate community.
